Punched, Formed & Deep Drawn Stamped Parts.
Custom Metal Stamping Solutions
Donlouco Ireland Ltd has a proven track record for quality and sustainable supply of precision stamped parts to customers in Ireland, the UK & Europe.
We supply to the automotive and electromechanical industries, providing various parts and components that are punched, formed, deep drawn, and more.
Full Traceability on All Parts and Materials
Parts are manufactured from excellent grades of raw materials with full traceability from the steel mill and smelting facilities to the finished product, including plating to international standards.
Comprehensive Metal Stamping Capabilities
We offer full metal stamping capabilities, from basic stamped profile parts and simple punch-and-die processes to complex parts produced using precision punch-and-die tool sets for high accuracy and edge definition, including fine blanking parts.
The Metal Stamping Process.
Punching, forming, and drawing
Precision-stamped parts are produced from flat sheet material using a shearing process. The material is sheared between the punch and die, causing it to fracture along the die perimeter.
Complex Shapes
Bends are used to form parts into a 3-dimensional profile of uniform thickness, typically done with a set of tools for each feature.
Multistage Progression Tool
Punching, forming, and drawing are also used to create complex parts of various shapes and thicknesses, often performed in a multistage progression tool.

Custom metal stamping tooling.
Custom Tooling for Customer-Specific Parts
Donlouco specialises in producing parts using custom tooling tailored to customer-specific requirements.
Versatile Tooling Options: Donlouco can produce parts from single die sets to complex progress tool die sets for higher volume.
Advanced Drawing and Forming Operations: Tools include drawing and forming operations to increase flexibility for intricate part design while maintaining a low price point per individual part.
Optimised Stamping Processes: Our stamping processes are optimised for high-volume production runs, ensuring efficiency and quality for custom components.
Advantages Of Progressive Die Stamping.
Volume and Speed
The Progressive die stamping process operates by having a continuous feed of material being moved through the stamping machine. Higher volumes of parts can be produced at quicker speeds than other metal stamping methods.
Efficient use of Material
With the various methods for manipulating your chosen metal (such as coining, bending, and punching), a large portion of the material is used, this is also a result of the most optimal tool design and, therefore an effective use of material.
High Repeatability
By using hard tooling, high-volume runs, and high-quality parts are produced with little or no damage to the dies.
Quality Assurance
Quality is assured through routine checks throughout the manufacturing process. Parts and materials are accompanied by full traceability reports. Donlouco is EN 1090 and ISO 9001 approved for the CE Stamping of parts.
Progressive Die Stamping Results in an Overall Lower Cost Per Part
Due to the combination of all these aspects mentioned above, efficiency can be achieved in the overall manufacturing process of the part.
Innovative Metal Stamping Solutions.
Plating Options to Suit International Standards
Most parts will require some form of finish to protect them from the environment or to improve the appearance or performance of the part in service. But the type of finish best suited to the part depends on what the part is made from.
We can provide finished parts with several different plating options to meet any of the internationally recognised plating standards all of which can be measured and checked by batch.
Zinc Plating
Parts can be zinc plated to EN ISO 2081, ASTM B633 standards, and other standards specific to customer requirements. This is normally done on steel parts and involves dipping the parts into a bath of molten zinc so that the external surfaces get covered in zinc.
There is normal dipping for general parts but threaded items are spin dipped which involves putting the dipped parts into a spinning basket immediately after dipping to centrifugally remove excess material from the surface so that the threaded sections are clean and smooth. For the process to be 100% successful the part needs to be completely clean before dipping.
Other Secondary Processes For Stamped Parts
Some common secondary processes include:
Heat treating, Painting, Deburring, Secondary tooling to trim, Passivation, Electropolishing, Sterilisation, Forming and laser welding.
